The Dubai Land Department (DLD) and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) have introduced a groundbreaking new programme aimed at helping Emiratis and expatriates step onto the property ladder.
Launched on Wednesday, July 2, the First-Time Home Buyer Programme offers exclusive benefits such as priority access to new real estate launches, competitive pricing, and customized mortgage solutions tailored for first-time buyers.
This initiative is a key component of Dubai’s Real Estate Strategy 2033, which seeks to increase homeownership across the emirate and double the real estate sector’s contribution to the local GDP.
A number of the city’s leading developers have pledged their support to the programme, including:
Azizi Developments, Beyond, Binghatti Holding, DAMAC, Danube, Dubai Properties, Ellington Properties, Emaar Properties, Majid Al Futtaim, Meraas, Nakheel, Palma Holding, and Wasl.
These developers will extend added advantages to first-time buyers—such as early access to off-plan properties and preferential pricing on homes valued up to AED 5 million.
